About Our Farm

Still Waters began in 2015 with a small herd of registered Black Angus cows. Our herd quickly expanded with new calves born each year, and hand-selected brood cattle added periodically. Now we are pleased to offer our Angus beef through our farm market in Rising Sun (Cecil County), Maryland.

Tucked away down a scenic country lane and housed in a renovated 19th century barn, Still Waters offers a cozy, inviting shopping experience. Come browse our selection of premium Angus beef and pastured pork cuts, as well as local grocery and gift shop items, including eggs, cheese, milk, ice cream, canned goods, coffee, and home décor. Pastured chicken and select produce are also available seasonally.

Locally Raised

Our retail beef comes from Angus cattle born and raised on our farm, or hand-picked from local farms that share our commitment to quality. Our retail pork comes from Yorkshire pigs also raised on our farm.

All-Natural

From pasture to plate, our livestock are never fed antibiotics, and their meat contains no added growth hormones. To achieve tender, flavorful meat, we raise our cattle and pigs on our pasture grass and finish them on grain.

USDA-Inspected

Our beef and pork are humanely processed by a federally-inspected butcher. Our beef is dry-aged for a minimum of 14 days. All cuts are vacuum-sealed and frozen to preserve freshness.
